308 is good to go come gun season. It was a retirement present to myself. Special gun to me Bluegill were biting too! Yep- Fish dinner tomorrow night.
I'm going to be out this Friday and probably the weekend. Moving my MIL to a different convalescent center tomorrow, and have farm obligations on Thursday to deal with.. having logging done first of the year.

That's a good sign. I have 5 reveals out but I'm not getting the daylight movement yet, but it could start at any moment.
We had a three day muzzleloader season here in Maryland this past week. I was able to get out on Saturday afternoon. Was in the stand at 4:45. Had a stag bugle several times within minutes of getting settled in. I gave it 15 minutes and called back to him. He bugled right back at me. I waited a little and called back. 5 minutes later this guy came walking in. 85 yd shot and he ran 20 yds. Best meat there is...next to elk.
Trail Cams are starting to get more daylight pictures of bucks that are 2 and 3 year olds. It won't be long now team.
