I hope so but I’m not expecting him to be. I still have some good bucks to chase but I sure was looking forward to chasing him.
Ugh guys! I almost made it happen tonight on a decent buck. Had amazing encounter with him, but I just messed up the shot. I did hit him, but hit him in the brisket and just a greased arrow. Follow blood anyway and it was just muscle blood. It stopped pretty fast right around 50 yards. Knew something wasn't right when he ran 20 yards, stopped, then just walked away. He will live to fight another day and I will back after another one shortly. I wrote up the story and posted it in the Live From The Stand thread if anyone wants to hear how it went down.

Its on public and I rarely see the same buck twice. I will just move on to the next spot. Its such a weird thing going from a huge adrenaline dump and shaking, to be sick to your stomach all with in minutes. That's bow hunting in a nut shell and I wouldn't change a thing! Haha except I would have got the buck too!
Man I bet alot of you are chomping at the bit to get out there! Less then a week and everyone's season should be open. Lay into those does guys , makes for some easy and quick points. Any one else have any updates from the stand?
