Bear made in china?

I bought a bear "ready to hunt" package back in 2016 as my first bow. Its called the "threat" - an entry level bow that came with bottom of the line trophy ridge components. Im ready to upgrade to something more appropriate. One of the guys I hunt with also bought a bear ready to hunt package recently and has had multiple problems with it and someone spoke up that bear used to be great bows but they sold out and are made in China now. Does anyone know when this happened? Just wondering if I have a Chinese bear

Bear Archery products are manufactured in Gainesville, Fl. Owned by Escalade Sports out of Indiana. Don’t know who the fella that spoke up was but according to the Wikipedia article they are still made in the US.

I just bought the bear adapt about two months ago. Great shooting bow and great price tag. Made in Gainesville Florida USA

 

Isn’t a Chinese Bear a Panda Bear ? From my understanding there made in USA .

 

I have that sticker on my Bear Whitetail Legend Pro that I bought in March.

Some of bears crossbows are made in China.

 

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I see that guy was incorrect about the “made in China” claim

 

Wondering if some of their low end, entry level stuff is made overseas? You see that a lot with various stuff...
