You sound like me, I’m full time for a big city, the Assistant Chief for my small town, and then I do all the YouTube stuff in my spare time. Never enough time in a day!

One of my preseason hitlisters that I’ve been waiting to return since June 4th returned on my last cam check.

Top is now, as a 5 year old, bottom is last year. He didn’t add a ton and broke the tip of left G3 but I’m probably shooting if he walks by with our history. I passed him a handful of times last year and got some great video of him. I can tell who he is by his swollen back right knee.

Nice! I love being able to track them over the years and then if you have opportunity to harvest on top of every thing else- its the ultimate! Good luck on this quest!

Well update for me. I hunted 3 hunts this weekend 2 evening and one morning hunt. No deer shot or harmed in those hunts. Heavy acorn drop in my area has deer pretty spread out. My 3 buddies and I collectively only saw a handful of doe and a couple small bucks. I probably wont get out until this coming weekend. Good luck everyone!

Either one of these deer will score us some points if I get an opportunity to shoot one.

Looking at the 10 day forecast and opening day is upon us here in Tx! Unfortunately, it will be a high of like 88-89 that first weekend but lows around 60 which is nice for us that time of year lol.

Man that’s a good front to hunt, it’s coming my way over tonight into tom. I’ll be out Thursday and Friday. Almost killed a big one yesterday am, this new spot is loaded with am activity and 4 shooter bucks, new ones keep showing up. I’m beating them back to beds and sitting over acorns. They been browsing hard on them

Go get em! Acorns been dropping here & the deer have been in peoples front yards gorging on them. Now just need the leaves to start dropping too

Uggggg! I really love yet dislike trail cameras! Had a fundraiser event (the jailbreak marathon if any of you are into running/walking marathon/half marathon/5 or 10K stuff) yesterday so didnt get home til 3 PM.Decided not to head to stand because that was kind of late to be heading out to where I wanted to sit and did not want to bump any deer. Check cameras today & turns out I would have most likely been ok walking out & target buck would have showed up about 5:30 PM. Good thing its early season yet I guess 20220925_164738.jpeg 20220925_164715.jpeg
