Opener is Saturday here in MN as well. Plan is go in off a leeward part of a ridge tip 200yds off food. Been getting those pics about 500 yards to the south of the bucks I've shared but since they've shed their velvet they had all but disappeared. Goal is a doe, but praying one of those bucks come by in the AM. I'll end up sitting until 10 or so then getting down and slowly scout for sign until the evening. My achilles feels pretty good and I am pumped to get the boot removed on Monday. I've done some walking without the boot and with the PT I've been doing I should be able to navigate the woods as long as I'm not reckless. Let's start racking up some points! (Pun intended).
Sure. I need to get ready to go to Colorado...pack all my stuff, make some meals to get frozen before Friday...scramble scramble... And into the backyard a few minutes ago.. 50 pts is 50 pts...
Finally got a pic of the 10 pointer during daylight. It's going to be hot Saturday but it's also supposed to be overcast with storms in the evening which I am hoping is going to encourage some movement.
Once the fruit trees are done, they got up all the bird feeders in the neighborhood...till the acorns start dropping.
Yes I hunted the area twice now in similar conditions. Haven't had an luck. Cam doesn't show him yet either. I will keep moving around and figure it out. Lots of land to cover Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
