    My taxidermist text me the other day that last years buck is mounted, just waiting to dry and get painted. Said it'll be ready for pick up next week. He sent me a sneak peek photo.

    Headed back home. It’s been a fun few day of scouting and tent camping in Iowa. The deer sign is overwhelming. We found some really good spots to start at in November. Lots of groceries in the area. Come on NOVEMBER!!

    I’ll be getting after it 9/17. It’s a early start section in Pa that opens up, doe and buck. I got some big ones to go after there, but I’m looking to stick a few doe early.

    I'm also in Wisconsin so the countdown has begun. I'll also be hunting in Indiana this fall for archery, and Iowa with the smoke poles.
    I always hunt opening weekend pretty hard to lay down some doe if nothing else. I'm hoping to get us on the board.

    I finally pulled my pictures off the cards for West Virginia. Our next card pull should have all the shooters on it, I setup multiple mock scrapes and put new batteries in a bunch of the cameras. A little preview of what we got:

    I just want to make sure everyone understands there must be two photos of you, your bow and your deer in the photos for them to count for the contest.

    2 pics with a bow. I got this, I’m a pic whore I’ll take 20 lol. I was part of some contests in the past where people didn’t enter them or didn’t take the proper pics. It’s pretty annoying for how simple it is, I’m ready to get after it. Seems like we got a solid team, I’m shooting a booner this year too :moose:
