Checking in! Just a quick rundown on who I am and what I do. I'm Collin, I hunt Western New York. I am a construction project manager and should have a ton of flexibility this fall to hunt. This spring/summer has been one of my best all time for picking up properties and scouting big deer. I look forward to the contest and getting to follow along on your hunts as well.

The name is Phil, I live in NE Georgia and have my own property to hunt in central Ga, I also am in a club in southern Illinois that ill be spending quite a bit of time on and a farm in NW Kentucky I plan on hunting a few times. I own My own company and take a lot of time off in the fall. Might even fire Myself for the month of November for slacking off the entire month of October looking forward to this season
bowhunt4abuck checking in. Excited for the contest. I plan to hunt more this year then I ever have. I can't imagine (and don't want too) a world where I don't shoot a doe. I have been picky and less motivated after losing my favorite spot a couple years ago but I'm starting to switch gears into a new Era. I'm going to try to be very mobile and hunt alot of different spots. I have the most fun in these contests when the team has had some sort of group chat or 3rd party app for communication. I'm 100% down to do that again as long as pretty much everyone is down. Look forward to getting to know you guys a little and share the seasons.
I know whatsapp is an option. What little playing around I have done with that one I'm not overly impressed with it. Maybe someone knows a better option.
If everyone had Facebook still we could pry do Facebook messenger too, but seems unlikely alot have deleted lol
Im a old fart and dont do much of the social media crap, I do have messenger on my phone but only use it for work occasionally.
I have used WhatsApp before and its alright. I'll do whatever works for everyone. My season starts September 10th with an 9 day antlerless hunt. I should have no problem taking a doe with my bow that first or second evening. October 1st starts our archery season and that runs until the 19th of November.

It sounds like whatsapp is probably gona be the thing to try. It's basically just another app for text messages that keeps it separate from you normal text message folder. You would also be able completely customize you notifications how you want then so you can know when we are talking to each other and even follow along on others hunts live if you want. That's something the app itself should do that it unfortunately fails at. This was for anyone wondering why we would want to this or what it's for. I say we just go for it.
