Checking in . I'm Dave, been bowhunting since 1987. I just put up cameras last week and haven't checked them yet. Food plot is prepped to get planted labor day weekend.
I am Adam. Live in Little Rock, AR and do most of my bowhunting on public land in the central Arkansas. I probably won't be doing much hunting until November as both of my older boys have football games on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons until end of October. However, I do have 330 hours of sick leave, so if a good mid- or late- October cold front hits on a day where work is not to pressing, I plan on burning some time. Not sure exactly what it will look like yet, but, I will be burning a few vacation days sometime in mid-November and around Thanksgiving to hunt. @Brad Kaufmann and I were on the same team last year. Neither of us put bucks down, Team 12 would not have gone back-to-back if we had. I will speak for both us and say that mistake will not happen again. No threepeats for the Team 12 Twinkies How many on our team are familiar with GroupMe? I use it all the time for coaching my kids' sports teams. Basically a texting app, but, you do not have to give out your personal number. Just register with an email address and create a profile. Then join the group. It would be an easy way for us to keep in touch outside of the forum so we don't run into any communication issues. It also saves the hassle of your phone constantly going off like in group texts.
Chris from SE Ohio, will be mostly hunting Ohio (3 counties) this year with a trip out west to Oklahoma the last week of October. I'll have my 12 yr old with me on a lot of hunts. He's been tagging along since he was 5 and took his first buck at 7. He's growing into a heck of a deer hunter and can't wait to see what this season will bring. Been shooting recurve since last winter and hoping to fill a tag with it this year.

Shocker is down to clown! Name is Brandon i hunt western and southern Illinois. Im pretty busy with work this year but still managed to get Nov.11-28th off. I also have a couple days to use on a whim when conditions dictate. I too will have some youngins with me on a few hunts so hopefully we get lucky. Last season was good for me i broke a big buck dry spell and shouldve made 200pt club if a certain idiot didnt forget to get pics with his doe . Wont happen again this year! Cant wait to win this year with you all.
Im an Industrial Maintenance Electrician although my job title has changed many times in the past 10yrs. I actually think now it says Maintenance Specialist on my pay check. They change things here and dont even tell us.
What's up fellas! Brad checking in, and hoping to actually contribute for once! My best year recently was when I tagged a fergie and 2 does in 2020, so here's to something with a good rack this season! I've got a better chance now too with a new lease out in NW Illinois to go along with my 2 smaller local spots. I went to a couple different public land spots last year, unfortunately the closest true public land is about 2 hours from me, so it was kind of a shot in the dark. But like I said, got a new spot that looks promising, so the first good 3 year old out there is getting an arrow from me! I work for Bowhunting.com/BHOD doing a lot of the stuff behind the scenes like filming/editing videos and running the social media pages. As good as that sounds, our busy time is obviously during deer season so I'm only able to take a few days off every fall. But it's worth it being able to essentially work on hunting-related things year-round.
