Anyone on here draw an elk tag in PA? I did not draw this year. I know one person locally that drew a cow tag.
Did anyone on here put in for the 2022 PA Elk drawing? This is one of the first years in a while I actually applied instead of buying points. I gave myself very low odds by applying for Bull only in a specific zone but figured it was worth a shot. The only trip I have planned this year is Iowa so its one of the few years I would be able to dedicate some real time to it without conflicting with other trips. After killing my first elk last year, its hard not to want to hunt them every year, amazing experience and amazing meat.
I put in every year since they started the archery season and had no luck. I've tried either sex , I've tried bull only with any zone, doesn't seem to matter. A buddy and I have keep trying with no luck. We both decided since it will take some time to drawn, that we put in for bull only because it will probably become a once in a lifetime draw and highly unlikely to get drawn a second time anytime. Nice!! Good luck to you guys also!! I believe the Elk Expo is 8-20 and 8-21 this year. I am pretty sure they do the drawing then.

My husband enters every year - nothing. My old-time neighbor growing up drew probably eight years ago and got a slob of an elk. Beautiful. He entered yearly, religiously, too. I think it was year 15 he got chosen. It wouldn't fit in his house and is now hanging on the wall in the garage between rafters.
little late to the party, but I put in for it last year, no joy. I will try again this year, but I'm hoping to get a Colorado tag also.
