No concerns about out of the box sharpness? 350 seems like a big number to me. I would be interested in a follow up video on sharping the head and just how much work is involved to get it down to 250 and once there if it will hold its edge retention as well as it did at 350.

Thanks for the review and coupon code. I always like it when a reviewer goes to bat for their followers! Any savings is always appreciated. Right bowhunting.com? coughs.....

The blade angle on these fixed and all other one piece heads is their downfall. Your just not getting them super sharp unless you change the angle and don’t use a flat stone to do two blades at once.

It’s the bevel angle on 3 blade one piece heads. But it’s plenty sharp to hunt with very effectively. And with some work, I can get them much sharper. But even at 350 grams to break the wire, that’s considered a 8.5 out of 10–a solid B. Then the retention, which is MUCH more important, was perfect at 10/10. Most heads dull tremendously as soon as they hit hide.

Some of the worst blood trails I have even seen have been from solid three bladed heads with their poor bevel angles.

Interesting. Thanks for the comment. That's not been my experience. To be fair, I think I've heard every broadhead critiqued for blood trails at some point :) These will put a 1.25" diameter chunk thru an animal; lots of factors affect the blood letting.
