Crap man. I am very sorry to hear of this and I hope things work out. You know the drill brother. Ice the heck out of it for the next 2 days, every 3 to 4 hrs.

There’s a well used trail heading to a plot, you just can’t tell from the picture, everything is so green it just blends in right now.

So glad I walked this 80 acre piece. Outside then right down the middle. 60 acres of it are prone to flooding and I didnt see alot of sign. Took the kayak and moved just 100 yards past another water cut and the ground rose about 5 feet. Way more sign and cover and therefore deer sign. I set a cam and will run it for several months. I wont hunt it until it gets colder as the mosquitoes are next level.

.8 miles through a nasty swamp to get to the spot on foot. Only 250 yds by kayak and tree is only 20 yds from the water.

Tried to draw my compound yesterday, got about 2" and that was that. Packed it up in my bow case. Very sad day.

Shot my crossbow. I was able to cock it. Shot it at 20,30,40,45,50 and it's still spot on.

Soooo, if im not in a sling, then hopefully I can get out.

Getting any concrete answers from doctors will take about a month. Grrrrr.

Glad to hear you can at least cock your crossbow. I've had two surgery's on my shoulder and still can't draw a bow without excruciating pain. It was painful to have to give up the bow and go to a crossbow, but at least we can still pursue our passion.

Got my V3X all set up finally on Saturday. Almost got it dialed in. Going to be shooting alot, running behind this year. I tried a couple thumb releases when I was at the shop. I'm going to wait until after season so I can spend more time with one and get use to it, only if I come across a good deal on a Stann Onnex thumb release.

Out at my folks place this morning and I could hear acorns hitting the ground all over the place. Squirrels are in overdrive, cutting them as fast as they can. Looked like some deer have been hitting them too. I forgot to bring my cameras with me. Smh.
