I don’t know much about cell cams. Just starting my research and can’t find the answer to this question. Do you have to get the same service as your cellular provider? My property is 2.5 hours away. My cell phone service is att by we get no signal there. My work phone is Verizon and gets decent service there. Can I get a Verizon camera to send the pics to my att phone? Thanks

I can't speak for any brand other than the Tactacam Reveals, but as far as the reveals go they do not need to be the same as your current carrier. I have multiple AT&T and Verizon cameras. What ever carrier works best in a given area is what I go with. So in your situation, getting Verizon Reveals would work.

    Simple answer. No.

Cell cams (now a days) are their on provider/carrier...no way linked to your provider/carrier.

No they don't. Just think of a cell cam as a another cell phone. And that cell cam is just communicating with your phone just like anyone else who calls you that has a different service. The only exception to that would be if you had Verizon and you were adding a data plan for the cell cam to your existing account. But even then it could still communicate with any other service. I'm not sure if that last scenario is even an option anymore.
