How about the Oklahoma coach who had to resign? A player of his wasnt paying attention so he snatched his ipad and read what was on the screen of the ipad....it included The N word. So now the coach has to resign bc he read the N word off a players iPad screen. How fing stupid. I really hate how this country is going right now
I want to know what happened to the kid that actually wrote said word. As far as the coach well here we go.....IMO.....It's BS the reason of reading out loud said word to can him. That said He had no right to be reading anything off that tablet,take it away and deal with the kid for using it when not suppose to., but the contents were none of his business period.
My college team had about 100 players on it. This was the mid 90s....cellphones just started coming out. Well we are having a short team meeting in the locker room after practice and this kids cellphone goes off. Coach was not happy. Told the player to give the phone to him and to come see him in his office at 0600 the next morning to get it back. Stole the kids phone for a day! haha.....lesson imparted on us, be considerate and understand your environment. No one said a word. The Oklahoma head coach Venables comes out with some scripted bs about this....the players he loves and the resignation was the right thing. The right thing for one mistake? Crap you would kick 30 football players off a team a year if that were the case.
I plan on doing a briefing about boat operation Saturday morning. I have a plastic 1 liter bottle, a windsor traveler empty. I fill it with water and keep it in the liquor cabinet. I will pull that out before I start, open the bottle and chug down half the bottle and say OK F'ers let me explain how it is going to be.

I agree with what you said and to that add as far as I'm concerned teachers and coach's should stand at the door with a basket and every single internet connected device needs to be dropped in until end of sessions. Teachers need to learn to teach and students need to learn to retain info and critical thinking. In that quote of mine no where did I say anything about taking the device away. I clearly said... he had no business reading anything on the device.
The player had no right to expect privacy on a device owned by the school. Kids today do not get that.
So the car that engine light had come on, brake light came on then brakes got punky, and at 40 mph engine started revving to 5 on the rpm gage then drop to 1 . It is at the shop. Hubby checked brake fluid before we had to take it down the hill...dang low,yet no leak in drive...hmmmm He started It up and zero,zero lights and Oh it had also been humming like a jet engine...all normal. So I'm looking for a new to me truck. Refuse a Dodge,screwed on a transmission warranty,I never forget. Nothing light,white black or red . King cab and short bed but long bed is OK.. Good ground clearance.even some tracks sit too low as far as I'm concerned. Turning sucks as far as prices go...figures
I did not see where it stated the devise was owned by the school if that was the case than I'd agree. Can that part be quoted? Otherwise a devise brought to school be it phone or tablet in such a scenario and not owned by the school is a privately owned devise not opened to being read ourt loud.
