I think I've tried a new broadhead each season that I've bow hunted, this season will be my 8th season in. I've shot 2 & 3 blade swhackers, NAP (maxx, edge, and XXX), SEVR 2.0, and WASP hv. I've had really good success with mostly all of them honestly, but I just find it fun to try different brands out and see how they do. As far as devastating, I think the xxx puts a hurting on some animals, but the blades almost are always wrecked on all NAP's that I've shot. Most of the shwackers I could shoot again along with the SEVR.

I think I want to try out the grim reapers pro series 3 blade, 2" cut. Anyone else running these? What head will you be trying out this year or will you be sticking with your "tried and true".

Sky’s the limit out there, we’re spoiled with solid choices. I’ll be sticking with QAD Exodus heads. Good luck in whatever you choose.

I'll just stick to the same OLD Muzzies I've been using for 20+ years.

Here are the heads I found most interesting in 2022 in no particular order:

    EXODUS SWEPT
    ANNIHILATOR XL
    TOOTH of the ARROW
    REK FX4
    IRON WILL

I am shooting the ANNIHILATOR XL this year for sure. If I was going to try another it would probably be the EXODUS SWEPT.

Exodus, if you are prowling the forums, DM me and I will send you my address. :p

Not sure, but I’ll let you know.
I’ll be using QAD Exodus full and VPA 125 solids. Took a goat earlier this year with the Exodus and had good results with VPA 100 vented. Just wanted something a little tougher than the vented, so picked up the solids.

I was a huge Ramcat fan but grew more and more frustrated with getting them in and out of my quiver. I think QAD exodus are amazing heads. This year I am running Iron Wills. I tried annihilators last year and had a few fly awful. (I would shoot one and have awful flight, take it off and replace with another one and it would fly fine. I contacted annihilator but they never responded.) It was one of the more frustrating experiences I ever had with broadheads. This year I am trying out Iron Will. I really just want to stop messing with broadheads, if it weren't for the blades of the Ramcats getting stuck in my quiver on occasion I would still be shooting them. I used to be like you and loved trying new gear, now I lean towards just wanting reliable equipment I can trust year after year. I'll be interested to see what you end up with and how you like them, good luck!!

Exodus, Wicked Tricks are my go to fixed heads and this year I am using the 1 3/8" Grim Reaper Razortip for my mech. head .... the only other Mech's Ive tried were the Rocket Steelheads (reg and XL) and their Sidewinders (now all discontinued damn it) and Ive killed over 2 dozen deer and some BIG bucks using 'em thru the years (still got quite a few left of all, and no, I'm not selling 'em .. lol)... looking forward to the GR's, Ive got extra practice heads on the way also ... ...every thing is 100 grs .

As long as I hit where I'm suppose to I watch em drop as the commercial says, but that can be said about most blades thou too

I'm trying the QAD Exodus 100gr this year. Shot the Iron Will 200gr last year on my high FOC rampage. I have since backed off a little bit. I have shot the original Rage, Muzzy, G5 Trocar, ect.

I'll be running the ANNIHILATOR XL this season. It performed very well last season, even if I didn't. It is the best head I have found with only one negative, that being an audible noise in flight.

I’ve shot a bunch of different heads: magnus stinger, snuffer ss, black hornet 4 blade, NAP spitfire maxx, killzone, blood runner 2 and 3 blade, all of which worked well and had no issues. I have had issues with 2 broadheads: DRT mechanical hybrids~ flew like absolute crap and cost me my biggest buck ever, and NAP double cross~ just a weak arse head that didn’t penetrate worth a crap.

Just bought a half dozen tooth of the arrow Solid XLs and am very excited to shoot them, I want to be done with the constant broadhead change and just stick with something I know works great

I had to look up the Gravedigger broad heads. They look pretty wicked.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the malfunction you experienced with them?

One blade open up when I drew back. I did not see it happen but my son did. The broadhead actually spun itself off the shaft.

Tooth of the Arrow XL. I’ve used the vented with excellent results. This year I’m mixing in some solids.

    Black Eagle Arrows
    60X Custom Strings
    Tooth of the Arrow Broadheads

You won't be disappointed. Shot a doe with one of those last year. She had no idea she had been shot, took two steps, looked around and fell over dead on top of the arrow.
