I am really bad for that with the wife, family and friends. What I can't figure out is why they still fall for it and believe me. Someday it is going to bite me in the @ss when I do really need them to believe me. Best one with the wife... I shot a buck a mile off the road. Called the wife to let her know. She came out to help me. It was darker than heck that night with rain coming. There was an old field road that led back in there. It was overgrown with weeds and grass so you couldn't tell it use to be a road. I told her if she seen cattails, we went too far and would get stuck. They had built up the old field road through the cattails, I knew it was dry cause I walk out that way to meet her at my truck at the main road. You should have heard her start screaming when we hit the cattails. Of course, I said, " OH SH!T !!! " and punched it. She screamed even louder !! I started laughing. She called me a jackass when I told her it was dry and about the old field road. Well she had a few other choice words too. I could feel the love.
