You guys are beasts! Keep it up! Weighed myself for the first time since I was at the doctor in March. Down 14lbs. Actually shocked me. I've noticed some differences in my body but did not think I would be down that much. Almost tempted to start bulking a bit as I'm now at 165lbs and that's the lowest I've been since at least college.
It’s always bulking season. We say 2 something to do something at work. Haha your work may vary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Had a nav dive yesterday for work and finned 2200 meters. Today: 3x20 landline shoulder press superset with 3x20 bent over cable lat pull downs followed by 3x20 high incline lateral db raises, 3x8 decline db neutral grip bench with 3x:30 lateral child pose stretch, 3x15 band good mornings superset with 3x15 low to high cable flys, 3x15 palms down db curls superset with 3xmax prone tricep extensions and 3xmax grip crusher Abs Shoot bow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lunch break workout: did a fast-paced chest and back lift in 25 minutes then hiked for 35 minutes with 40lbs.
We are diving ops at work so another 1200 meter fin. 4x3 power clean with wrist stretch during break, 8x2 box back squat with 1 minute intervals, 4x12 cable pat pulldowns superset with 4x6 2 db step ups, 4x:30 back extension iso superset with 3x20 band pull aparts, 8 50 yds sprints on the minute. 8 rounds in 30 minutes with 100lbs on the bar: Power Clean x 1 Push Press x 2 Lunges x 3/side Row x 4 Stiff-legged deadlift x 5 25 rope slams Finished with 30 minutes of wearing a 25lb pack hike carrying 25lb DBs in each hand for 50 yards then walking 150 yards without the DBs and repeating for the 30 minutes. Edit: ran about 20 sprints in the evening as a receiver for my son while we were working his QB drills.
Did a 60 minute hike with a 25lb pack on my lunch break. I need to get a new training pack. This cheap thing is wearing out in the straps and carrying more than 30lbs is starting to be painful.
Yesterday 2000 meter fin. Was tired so didn’t lift. Today: 4x:20 chin up iso superset 4x:20 push-up iso hold, 4x4 incline bench with football bar with 3x5 each side 90 supine stretch, 4x8 db rows superset with 4x12 trap bar deadlift into shrug, 4x15 bbell curl superset with 4x max reps of banded tricep extensions. Have another 2000 meter fin for work but it’s a night dive so we aren’t splashing for another 3 hrs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Staying consistent here. Closing in on 48 yrs old and the running isnt getting easier. Been training my daughter so I have been running "sprints" this week. After the 3rd running workout in 5 days, plus that long hill walk 4 days ago, and my legs are torn up.
Going to start following along. Been dieting for several weeks, low carb/keto, blend of steak and eggs, keto, carnivore. Currently down 21 pounds from my start weight and 26 from my heaviest this year(ever). I have no clue what I am doing honestly . Started out buying 6 dozen eggs and a few pounds of steak. 3 eggs and a pound steak twice a day, then started using boiled eggs as snacks and meals. Got worried about cholesterol as I wasn't doing any type of excercise. Added celery, pecans and other low carb snacks. So damn expensive right now. I track almost everything I eat(hard to do when cutting carbs and no sugar/bread/starches using an app to pick it out) and have been averaging around 1200 calories a day and usually less than 10 carbs and always less than 15. Haven't had any sugar since starting. Mostly drinking water but have been using monkfruit sweeteners with tea, lemonade using lemon juice and a bit of kool-ade. I can definitely see the loss in my face, belly and arms. I feel like I am breathing a lot better, no longer getting shortness of breath with minimal activity and feel like lung capacity has been improved, likely just less pressure on them relieved from being overweight. Starting to do jumping jacks to improve cardio and have been doing mostly arm workouts with weights(fixed the rant thread issues ). Going to start doing 5 miles a day on the treadmill here real quick, start at 3mph or so then bump up to 5-6 after a few days. I want to lose another 25-30 pounds for end result.
Congrats on making this decision bro. I wish you luck. One mantra I always lived by during the weight loss portion of my journey was: "It didn't come on overnight and it won't go away overnight." Just be patient and if you mess up one meal, get right back on the horse for the next meal. Slow and steady wins the race. Good luck, we're all pulling for you Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
You might remember a couple of times over the the last 5 years of me sitting in the ER on early November mornings. 99% sure it was trapped gas and malnutrition. Doing my best this year.
I forgot all about that guy. What a jerk! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
