I have to say if you haven't look into suspension gyms. You do not need a super expensive one. They take up little space and are portable. Great for isolating muscle groups using your own weight and angles to increase or decrease effort...love mine

Ps. A ton of YouTube workout videos to watch and try
Oh BTW. Today as we were leaving for a gathering hubby says: Ok I have to say for a 64yr old you have the Ares of a 25yr. old.." Really, have you had your perscription check lately ? You may need new eyeglasses...lol
Point, true story, that gym is great for doing squats and butter flies.

I know my first hunt will be mid Sept. Doe only, not far away. Did Xbow last year because of first time SEPT. , Draw issues and heat. I am going with the compound this year. We blew through that venison last year and now I'm more ketovor than just keto I can't afford beef in this economy. Should have gone in with son on his cow.. I'll just have to hunt harder this year.

This place is 130 miles from the house but I could see myself taking a week or two and hunting it each fall. Mark Twain Lake in North Central Missouri.

I just saw this today and my eyes lit up. Boat around to new spots and just explore. I couldn't even imagine having an opportunity to do something as cool as that one fall. I'm gonna take a couple days this winter and head up there and boat scout.

Look at this! Just one small section. Landlocked pockets all over the place.

Put a new stand up in VT. It's at an intersection of two old logging roads and about 3/4 up the hill. Cell cam has Doe and Buck moving through the intersection at all times of the day.

Just got back from a MD trip, changed the batteries in the tactacam, put out two spypoints, got a stand hung for dad, set up some sticks for a saddle spot, sprayed the foodplot from last year to replant, and sprayed a new area for a second foodplot. Also put out a couple of mock scrapes following this video. here’s my mock scrape and the view from my saddle spot! 61 days till MD opens can’t wait!! Was out at the prop this am, cleared a trail the whole length in the lower field to the upper clover field, it was taller then my skid in green briar. Hung 3 stands, cleared lanes/trails and 4 more cams out. I’m whooped but making progress!!! Won’t be long killers!

I thought about the deer today. As I worked. This might be a "make the best of what ya got" kind of year for me, instead of a normal, scout, trail cams, clear up paths, and other chores kind of year. Still excited, but good Lawd, I'm swamped and stressed out to the max.

I have seen doe In the corn field, farmers, I've had doe crossing the road as I drove down hill. I have not seen a single deer on the property when out since the buck encounter months ago. They are out there though because therefore tracks everywhere and droppings.
My only stress..lost a couple of dog house tower blinds and I just havent got to the rebuilds. Plus shooting Windows need to be cut into chicken coop blind. That sits on the inside corner of the farmers corn field. I think it will be a perfect spot. They will go by to and leaving the corn and it sits at the end of a trail plot I tweaked this spring and will plant this fall .

My first disappointment with the Tactacam Reveal XBs came this afternoon. I had two bucks about the same caliber as the one I posted above walk right in front of one of my cameras a little after 8:00 am. I didn't know it was two until I received the HD video I requested this morning. The video shows the first buck pretty clearly but the second buck's rack is pixelated almost the entire time.

They eventually walked uphill and walked in front of the second Tactacam and I requested HD stills of those not knowing they were the same bucks. I haven't gotten those pics yet.

Still, I expected more detail from an HD video in daylight. They still beat walking into the area and scenting it up to get lower quality still photos.

Shot for the first time in a couple months. 3 from 25 in the 10 ring. Time to get back to practicing more.

I shoot 580 grain arrows with sharp fixed blade heads. Shoulders don’t scare me. Deer can’t run if you break both shoulders.
