It all depends on what magnification of your pins you're looking for. I used them for years and loved them...till I got progressive lens glasses, which made them obsolete.

Good to know glasses might correct this. I just purchased a 6X for my Hog Father. I also ordered Hamskea peep with all the clarifiers. Thank you for your input.

Bumping this for input on the topic.
I’ve been shooting with just a 2x on my HHA with no problems but my latest prescription has the target blurry. It’s fine for hunting and close range. Shooting paper or longer ranges it’s no bueno. I need to get a new string on my elite and I’m toying with the idea of getting a clarifying peep.

    Thoughts, insight and experiences appreciated.

It is my understanding that a clarifier is for your pin view and a magnifier is for your target. So, if the target is blurry, then the problem lies with your lens. Perhaps with the new prescription you need to mess with your sight distance from the riser and see if the target view clears up? I think a clarifier will only affect your pin view.

Hmm I’m not sure, I thought a verifier cleared up the pins?

I’m going to have to look into this. My Hoyt(new bow) is where I have been having the trouble. The HHA is also new on that set up. Hmmm

Oh shoot, that is correct. Clarifier for target, verifier for pins. My mistake.
