So I have a friend I have known since college, we used to work together and then he moved to California. Since moving to LA he has become a liberal. This whole covid thing he has been a self-righteous liberal about masking, shots, etc. Well this past weekend he was back in Wisconsin for a large family gathering, when he was headed back home he had symptoms. Did he delay his flight? Did he get tested? No the a-hole got on the flight with his mask on flew home and was diagnosed with covid upon his return. What a selfish *******.

Don't worry - his mask and the filtered air on the plane protected those around him from getting it.

What hell is wrong with people? A highly competitive position and feeling good about applying until I see the below.....

"All applicants conditionally offered a merit position will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Screening will be performed by a reputable clinical laboratory. The cost of screening will be covered by the County. Additionally, new employees will have 30 calendar days, after their first day of employment, to attest to their COVID-19 vaccination status. Instructions on how to submit this attestation will be provided once employment has begun. County employees are not required to be fully vaccinated, but those who are not fully vaccinated must submit to weekly COVID-19 testing until they are fully vaccinated or St. Louis County geographically reaches a 70% vaccination rate and a moderate transmission level of COVID-19 as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."

well, no crap ... it is what has been know for quite some time now ... NON-vaccines are just a therapeutic, dont stop the spread nor infections and the non-vaccine can destroy a persons immune system .. the govmnt has been lying to you on the non-vaccines effectiveness ..

Fauci admits that COVID-19 vaccines do not protect 'overly well' against infection

CDC reclassified my county as a “high risk” of infection yesterday. Back to ineffective masks at all times in the med school. I called my wife and told her I had had enough of thw hospital environment and cowardly “leadership” and was starting a serious job search. I have been half-heartedly looking for over a year. The only reason I am still here is because work hours are incredibly family friendly and moving out of state for another job isn’t an option until after the MIL passes.

i am starting to be open to making a complete career change if the work hours still worked well for my family.

Welcome to the new American wisdom. Never come in contact with anyone work-related, vaccinate for their safety anyway. And the government bureaucracies and medical magnates can’t understand why people are skeptical.
