I've been bad in all honesty. The diet has been fine no issues there. The exercising not so much. The garden and land work has me sore and tired. Bending over seriously effects my knees and the tilling my hands and elbows. The garden is nearly done then plot work begins and two new blind to build to replace the dog houses. So the weight has stayed stalled. Better than going up but I still have more to lose. Once I stop all this bending over to plant seeds, plants, and weeding the knees should clear up and the few mile hikes with A. J. can begin again.

So apparently there was,a food bank give away in the area, today. I had just got back from working on the green house t have a friend 'll in with a case of really nice yellow squash and one of cucumbers. Apparently the produce no one wants gets tossed at the end. They know I'm keto. Wow ! Summer squash and cukes are expensive. I got out the vinegar, bowls water and paper towels. It all got soaked then scrubbed, rinsed, dried and packed while out side all containers in outside trash.
I grated the yellow squash and cooked the water off, a big pan of it,then added cooked green peppers, mushrooms garlic, onion, Italian Turkey sausage and spices. Mixed all that together and added a low carb sauce. Dang that was good reminded me of Spanish rice without the rice. Texture was close too. Fried summer squash with roasted pepper and chicken for dinner tomorrow....cucumber salad.
They knew I would use and not waste this and boy I hope they show up again with surprises

I've ran 1.25 miles every day this week with another 1.25 mile walk every day. Ran 1.75 miles non-stop today and going for 2 miles next week. Don't have a health goal in mind, just thought I would get off my ass and be active since it's nice out.

I really do wish I had somewhere to run that wasn't all tar/concrete though. When I am done it seems one of my legs is always throbbing.

Joined a crossfit gym about a month ago. I'll never be a crossfit "athlete" but I do enjoy going a few times a week and always get a good sweat going.

I don't always feel like going but after it's over I never regret going.

Concrete and pavement is just the worst
Yesterday I sprayed and each full tank on my back was 45 #'s and I walked slowly discharging them through rough fields of clump grass. Even empty the tanks are over 10#'s. My legs and back after hours of that were less sore than an hour of shopping on concrete.

30lbs of steel plate and 511 vest should arrive tomorrow.

Been doing F3 for 2.5 months now. 2-3 times per week. I've lost about 10 lbs but I have also gained a lot of strength and the muscle is starting to show.

I cut back on the beer and start rucking...my goal is to lose a total of 25lbs (from start) and be down under 15% body fat before October.

A partner workout at the gym today. We split the bike into 500m increments. One would rest while partner was biking. Same thing with the running. One person would run 200m while other rested. So basically I did half of what's listed. A good cardio workout.

    1000m on echo bike
    200m run 2x
    2000m on echo bike
    200m run 4x
    3000m echo bike
    200m run 6x
    3000m echo bike
    200m run 8x

Good to see you guys getting after it. I popped my elbow doing Jiu Jitsu two months ago. I haven't been able to do much at the gym other than a few random exercises. Finally broke down and had an MRI done. I tore my medial triceps tendon. I've been running a few days a week not doing anything crazy typically between 2-6 miles. My weight is essentially unchanged but body composition is dramatically different.

Man I hate to hear that. Will that have to be repaired with surgery?

BJJ is a wild game. I can't tell you how many pops and rips I had over the years. I hope you heal up.

Been steady with my workouts for a long time. Been adding rucks and running. Trying to get acclimated to the heat and being able to walk for long periods of time before I move. I need to scout in the heat and when I go I plan on walking 4 to 5 miles...dang gas prices! The other day I walked for an hr in 90 degree temps with a weighted pack and did 100 pushups and squats along the way.
