Has anyone added a trail camera to their Verizon phone plan? I can add a device and get unlimited data for way cheaper than the apps that tactacam, exodus, etc use. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance! Sent from my SM-S908U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I don't believe that is an option with cellular cameras. At least I've never seen something like that. I have unlimited data and that would be great if it was out there. All cellular trail cameras have their own data plans to capitalize on $$$.
I have 5 Spartan cameras added to my Verizon account. I have unlimited data that is shared. It only cost me 5 bucks a month per camera. The only other thing I have to pay is to Spartan for their premium service which is 3 bucks a month per camera. So total of 8 bucks a month per camera I can receive pictures, videos and do live view. I haven't tried that, but it sounds like a smart idea to save on data costs. I've heard from some buddies that it worked out well for them. Plus, unlimited data is always a win! It might be worth giving it a shot if it's cheaper. Then, I could save for good hunting clothes black friday deals. Cheers to saving some bucks!
