Instead of (me) cluttering up the tiger thread…might as well create a masters thread. Morning live streams are on masters.org along with TV coverage schedules. Fred Couples on the practice tee/ green this morning… I could (and have) watched him drive balls for hours…such a smooth golf swing…still.

Golf channel has been “Live from The Masters” for the past 5 hours. Admittedly I have not watched all of it but I have yet to see any coverage from the course, only the practice area. TV rights… I’ve been streaming it from masters.org since 8:30am…click on live and you can either watch Featured groups, broadcast (when on air), or specific holes
You can also download the Masters app on your phone and cast to your TV. Tiger doing well for being out for 17 months and enduring a major injury. Just been watching the featured group. Will switch to ESPN when his round is over to catch his interview. Not a fan of commercials, so appreciate the Masters commitment to limited interruption of coverage. At least it was that way with CBS airing it.
The first round of the Masters watching Tiger shoot one under while celebrating National beer day. Seriously, only one thing could make this any better and I think she is busy working so I can watch golf and drink beer.
Not sure where all of the leaders and trailers tee'ed off today, but tomorrows weather is going to have some pretty significant challenges for Tiger and the afternoon group. Tiger will know what needs done, hopefully his back and leg holds up for some of the shot shapes needed. Going to be a test for sure teeing off later in the day. IMO, he should come up with a 72 stroke day utilizing irons as much as possible. No hero shots, no statement shots. Get on the green with par as the goal.
8 of 14 fairways and only 9 of 18 greens in regulation will eventually wear him out. You are correct in the fact that he just needs to play small ball and keep it clean today. Slipping around in the pine straw is a disaster waiting to happen because his competitive mind will take over and forget about his physical issues. I am rooting for the guy. I know he has had many issues, but not many of us would fare too well when put under a microscope.

Tiger looked really good on day 1, but it seemed like his back was tightening up on the last few holes. Will be interesting to see how he does, assuming he makes the cut. Dustin Johnson also looked good yesterday. The winds this afternoon will mess with many!

He did it twice actually, was on hole 3 or 4 I think. It was more you could read his lips than hewr it but you could faintly hear it. I thought maybe a fan heckled him as his approach shot came up well short. Then when I heard the one above I knew it was just Tiger beimg foul mouthed.
Oosthuizen withdrew so it will only be Tiger and Nieman. Might cause them to be delayed often waiting for the group ahead to clear.
