somewhat... as someone who originally suspected that this was man-made and coming from China, in/about January-February 2020, I thought it was a bioweapon and would be much more deadly than it ended up being. By March 23, 2020 I was already saying it had the same death rate as a bad flu...and I was right. That being said, I would say by about April/May 2020 I was over it and saw it for what it was - a mechanism for societal control; and I was not worried about getting it. My thoughts on the virus itself haven't changed much in two years. My opinion of society as a whole certainly has. And not for the better. And it wasn't that high to begin with.

However, the death rate claims in your original article do not hold up: actual numbers: There is no data to support a 5x higher rate of death; at least in the data cited by your original article. That being said, we don't need propaganda to make our points. While the jabs appear to prevent some deaths, "fully vaxxed" account for the second highest rate of deaths, and that figure coupled with partial/fully jabbed do account for over a third of C19 deaths. That's a far cry from being a magic bullet. and when you look at hospitalization rates (not to mention the (unknown here) number of adverse affects) you are not much better off getting jabbed. Put into layman's terms- if a doctor told you that getting the jabs meant you were MORE likely to get C19, but the 'good news' is you might be 10-20% less likely to get hospitalized and/or die from C19....but oh by the way there was a completely realistic and unpredictable chance you might get blood clots, a stroke, heart problems, and/or have long term nervous and immune system damage from getting said shots, would you still get the shots?
Hell, for all we know this was a Democrat collaboration through Fauci and his China Lab in hopes of a highly contagious, but mild symptom pathogen in a trial run(on a single issue) government funded health care. Two years ago this week my brother and I rented an RV and drove 3500 miles in 4 days to retrieve my mid 80’s aged grandparents in AZ so they didn’t have to fly home with the uncertainty’s at that moment in time.
I am completely convinced this is the end game. As was the "affordable health care act" under Obama. It is all a push towards more government control. Make private health care completely unaffordable, not just sometimes expensive, and then collapse the infrastructure. Even if that was not the original intent, it has certainly created the circumstances to make an open push for it.
