I doubt he does but I might start drinking first thing in the morning after I wake up. 2022 is starting to make 2020 and 2021 look really good and they were disasters!!

So going to a conference next week at Michigan State. I have to wear a mask in the airport, while getting on the plane but not during the flight, then need to wear a mask to deplane thru the airport to the rental car center. After that at the hotel in the restaurants in public indoors no mask needed, until I go inside the building at Michigan State masks must be worn.

So where I am masked is that the only places that I can get covid is now or is it in places you have to give up your civil liberties to enter.

    and in other news ..

Covid Jab Deadlier Than Covid for Anyone Under 80

      • Recent data analysis shows the COVID jab is deadlier than COVID-19 itself for anyone under the age of 80. For younger adults and children, there’s no benefit, only risk
      • All age groups under 50 years old are at greater risk of dying after receiving a COVID jab than an unvaccinated person is at risk of dying from COVID-1
      • For those under 18, the COVID jab increases their risk of dying from COVID-19. They’re also 51 times more likely to die from the jab than they are to die from COVID if not vaccinated
      • Only when you get into the 60 and older categories do the risks between the jab and COVID infection become about even. In the 60 to 69 age group, the shot will kill one person for every person it saves from dying of COVID, so it’s a tossup as to whether it might be worth it for any given person
      • Data suggest U.S. deaths reported to VAERS are underreported by a factor of 20
      • Summary Findings
In summary, key findings in this paper include the following:
        • For those under 18, the COVID jab increases their risk of dying from COVID-19; those under 18 are 51 times more likely to die from the jab than they are to die from COVID if not vaccinated.
        • In those aged 18 to 29, the COVID jab is 16 times more likely to kill a person than save their life if they get COVID. They’re also eight times more likely to die from the jab than to die from COVID if not vaccinated.
        • Those aged 30 to 39 are 15 times more likely to die from the COVID jab than prevent their death, and they’re seven times more likely to die from the inoculation than to die from COVID if not vaccinated.
        • Those aged 40 to 49 are nine times more likely to die from the COVID jab than having it prevent their death, and they’re five times more likely to die from the jab than to die from COVID if not vaccinated.
        • Those aged 50 to 59 are twice (2 times) more likely to die from the COVID inoculation than to prevent one COVID death, while their risk of dying from the jab or dying from COVID if unvaccinated is about the same.

I do not like the heavy hand of a mandate but it is somewhat logical to require masks at those facilities, at least the health care professionals know how to properly wear and have well fitted PPE.

They wear medical grade masks, the rest of us wear surgical masks that don't do anything to stop the virus. It's Prickster forcing his leverage and abusing his power in rebuttal to his kids mask mandate loss.

Have symptoms? Fine, wear a mask. I go for a regular check up in a couple weeks, I'll do my best not to comply to see how far I make it.

Kinda like gun rights. Let them ban .50 cals and say it's ok because they are sniper rifles and eventually they come after other calibers.

I'm not, and never will be for masks as a new normal, anywhere.

I work in hospital, never in patient care areas, and have been to required to wear a mask for almost two years. Is it OSHA approved PPE? A properly fitted N-95? Nope, it is a scrap of left over tee shirt with over-glorified rubber bands attached to it. Your logic works if the hospital is willing to foot the bill for PPE for everyone. No hospital can afford that, it is BS to pretend fabric masks work, even the CDC admits that now. Either give every hospital employee the proper training and supply appropriate PPE or quit wasting everyone's time and energy protecting the emotionally fragile fear mongerers.
