From 6/9/21 in this thread(partial quote).

Still have close to 3 years left. Biden is a disgrace.

Without being that guy, I honestly think that anyone who voted D last election isn't going to tell anyone. Especially those Rino's that voted upon a Trump bias.

But is this entirely the U.S. fault?? I thought it was Russia vs Ukraine. How is this Bidens fault or how did the democratic party start this war?

Just my opinion and my observation but people seem to be saying things like this simply to back up their political beliefs. How are you sure if a republican president was in office that this wouldn't have happened?

Just seems odd to me to begin pointing fingers at a certain political party member in the USA when 2 separate countries are fighting.

Ok. I'm done. I don't do politics well.

We're not at war so not pointing fingers at anyone. I'm saying we will get drawn into conflict by Bidens weakness.

As opposed to being drawn into conflict by another leader's strength?

Smart idea - let the oldest and most important person in the room be the only one to not wear a KN95 mask.

Historically, there has been more peace through strength than weakness.

    One in the same IMO.

I'm not blaming Ukraine/Russia on Biden, the whole world watched it happen after knowing for months it was coming.

The point is our enemies can see the weakness this administration has put on us.

Biden's actions have lead to a higher impact to the US during Russia's invasion. Just one example Biden killing the keystone pipeline while facilitating Russia's completion of their needed pipeline, that has contributed to higher gas prices.

when our enemies see how weak O'Biden and the democrats are, it emboldens them, knowing that there is nothing this administration will do ... Trump always said he didnt want war, I believed him .. BUT .. if some country/power screwed up, Trump was known not to stand for it ... sanctions now wont have any effect on Putin, he knows it ... Ukraine is not a NATO country, Putin knows it and NATO will not put forth troops, neither will the US (a good thing.. for now).. hell, when if it came down to a peer to peer conflict of the US vs Russia, Russia is superior right now .... are you guys even aware, that my beloved USMC no longer has tanks !! ... weve been fighting insurgents for quite a while, we are not ready to go one on one with a country like Russia or China ...

America Cannot Take On China And Russia Simultaneously
U.S. concerns about the risks of fighting a coming war with Russia and China are well-grounded, given it is unprepared to fight even a purely conventional war with them.

how the hell did this even happen ..... POLITICIANS and a weak knee'd populace that has become complacent, that is how ... smh ...

I believe the saying of 'walk softly, but carry a big stick' .... if that damn dog comes running at you snarling, whack his ass a good one, if he continues, pull out the 1911 and empty the thing on him .... period ...

Whether we like it or not, we have been the main actor as the world's police since WWI. Since we have taken this role on from many years ago and continued since, situations like this automatically involves us, not to mention we are a "super power". Our leadership sets the tone for everything we do world wide and when that leadership is weak, other countries take advantage. We like to say we have no involvement in Ukraine/Russia business, this is so far from the truth, we have major political, financial and strategic ties that it would completely amaze the average American how deep this goes. When our leadership is weak, some try to test the waters and others just jump straight in, Putin's threat to hammer us if we get involved and China flying into Taiwan's airspace is the perfect example. This whole thing has been brewing for a while, not just a month or two. Strong leadership would have confronted this with a heavy hand long ago and would have kept Putin in his place. We have to remember that Putin is a bully and when you smack him (heavy full on financial sanctions and major show of force) he complies. Russia has a track record of this and we can tell by history how our leaders handle it and what works, we just happen to have leadership that has been consistently wrong on issues since he entered government. Funny how we've had these issues from Jan 09 to Jan 17 and now within the first year of the new administration, admins that have handed political/financial win after win to our foes. Yes, our leadership plays a major role in this and this administration is in way over it's head and it's going to hurt world wide.
