Schools also know what they are dealing with, saw a high school kid standing outside waiting for bus this morning, think temp was high 30's light winds, shorts and short sleeve tee shirt...kids are stupid, parents just as bad for letting them out dressed that way.

It really is amazing to me that some companies stay in business. Working with a big company now that has somewhere between 50 and 80 (different) sales/ordering systems... Who does that?

Not to be sexist or anything but back in the day when I used to pick up my son from high school, the majority of kids that were way under dressed for winter were the girls.

It is hard to show off what you have with a big parka on! :o

So kinda funny story. I used to beg my kids to bring a warm layer (whether they wore it or not).

The two oldest went to dinner with their spouses. My son noted he and my daughter brought jackets, neither my DIL nor SIL did... As expected, post dinner, it was colder...

The fact my kids noticed this, but their spouses didn't, was keen.

did you have to double bag them? Seems like they'd bust out the bottom otherwise.

considering this past weekend I saw a middle-aged dude at the grocery store wearing shorts and flip flops when it was about 20* and snowing outside...don't think kids got a monopoly on stupid.

I thank god that yoga pants/leggings weren’t a thing when I was going through high school. I wouldn’t have passed a single thing. Not a chance.

We use to celebrate Halloween at school everyone including teachers dressed up....I've always had a thing for black cats. Put on a black long sleeved leotard over black tights.Wore "black ballerina" slippers attached a faux fur tail, cat ears and whiskers. Then wore my natural black waist length hair down. I weighed 110 back then...Lol....the male teachers had more problems than the high school boys. My senior year was great I pushed the limit on EVERYTHING.

Stephen A from espn. Shut the hell up. Youd think he was a former coach of the year from every major sports organization throughout the world for how he talks. ESPN relies on him as their talking head for every darn thing. Pathetic espn

    mmmmm, no.
as much as I deservedly rag on Illinois; for a MW state it does have a pretty good bevy of female candidates.
