They got 10+ inches. Just to our north near Fort Ripley there are spots that got 16+.

Those cracks are always nice while sleeping on the lake and you wake up out of a deep buzz coma thinking your going down

House is ready to roll! Heater, stove, TVs, etc.,. are all in working order after a little TLC tonight.

Heading north this weekend to battle the cold. Likely going out of a resort with plowed roads somewhere around Walker (Leech, Boy, or Wabedo).

Headed north, and west today...mountain trout in some creeks the target species.

Is been a long time since I've casted a fly rod. This adventure may end up like taking a kid fishing for the first time...

That's something I've struggled with fly casting. Seems like every summer when I first start fly fishing again I bull whip a couple off the line before I settle down and give the back cast enough time to lay out.

When I was a teen I was fishing in a local river when I snagged a fly rod and reel. The rod was broken in half and the reel crapped up. I took it home and fixed it as good as I could. I put a little fly on it and went down and caught one small bluegill. I was ecstatic. Well the next fish hit and the rod broke in half again...that is my fly fishing life story. LOL

I love to walk down the dock with a bumblebee fly and cast (not well) and catch on damn near every cast.
