Anyone know how I can get the seat to be able to support weight? As of now even a little pressure will cause it to fall out. Also...I bought it used and didn't realize how close the seat is to the bottom stand....is this stand built for ants? It need to be at least.....2x this big, haha. Just feels small!

You need to lengthen that main tube and then weld the"seat" up higher with brackets or at least pieces to stabilize it. You won't be able to flip it up but for 100 you can buy a entirely new one.

I think I figured it out....I think the seat should be in the square tube that is at the top above where the chain is attached. The previous owner must have put it together wrong. We will see

I call those a sling style seat. You need a cylindrical piece of cloth between the pivioting U/triangular piece and the horizontal piece of the stationary T at the back

The seat mentioned above would work. That said i wouldnt put 30 bucks into that stand. You tossing good money after bad. Even if you fix the seat the attachment points on those things sucked.

Put the thirty bucks towards a new stand.
