The bed of my truck is looking kind of gory. Funny thing is I can't see any red at all in that pic. I just figure it's red because I know what's on it.

I may need to pressure wash it when I get home.

I cannot believe how sick I got during my vacation. I lost probably 60% of my time off due to being sick. 10 days ago I started feeling sick again, maybe 50% of the symptoms came back. I laid on the couch for 4 days sweating. Finally the last 2 days I am feeling like a normal human being. This has been a wild ride. Wasted so much time during the rut. Hard to stomach. Oh well..I'm alive!

This almost got quashed this morning. Dumbass that runs the machine on weekends called off all 3 days last week throwing a tantrum. Doesn't want to get a Covid test so they won't allow him back until the 21st. 10 days after last "symptoms".

I got out of Friday, but have to work Saturday and Sunday now. Bit of OT and double time won't hurt.

Glad you're feeling a little better. Did you get tested for covid? It sure sounds like you may have had it.

Pretty much. I just have a few moments where I stil feel ran down. But I'm back to working out and working in the hospital. I just have to back off a little now and then. Thanks for asking

It really sucks that you were down for so much of your season, but I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better.

No, we don't donate any of it. We eat a lot of deer, but of course we don't eat that much of it.

What we do is trim very liberally and only the very best of the best goes to the wife and I. What we trim off goes in a grind pile along with fat, rib meat, belly meat, bloodshot meat and other parts that everyone else throws away and it all gets ground for the dogs and frozen in 1 3/4 pound packages. On any given deer we get about half and the dogs get about half.

Last season I killed 13 deer. I did give two away to family but the rest went into our freezer. Our upright freezer was full. The fridge freezer was full and even the freezer in the travel trailer was full. We were almost out by the time season opened this year.
