Alright so long story short. I feel one mia on y'all. Just not into the forum and chatting this year. Also was going yo try to sneak out some this next week. Well wife's grandma passed. Im off till monday after Thanksgiving. 3 days hunting busy tuesday and wednes hunt thursday morning. Then 3 more days. I have 5 tags and only shot at one buck, which i missed twice. Hunting hard as i can. Unless its a basket will shoot in the am.
Every year at this time I tell myself. I’ll go out and shoot a doe for the team, and every year I look out side and say, it’s way too cold to sit in the woods. Well looks like im going to have to try hitting public right after work. Believe thursday starts shotgun season. And ill legally have to put down the bow. Will be back out till jan. 10th or tags are filled after shotgun.
So nothing last night. Seen a few tonight but they didnt come to me. Try tomorrow night and the shotgun 2 seasons for 3 weekends. Then back to late muzzleloader which i dont hunt and late bow. Closing out jan. 10th

Good luck Kyle, shooting em with a pistol is fun. I took a doe last year with my dads old 41 mag. I’m still after it with a bow, have 3 more doe tags to fill.

Was guna hunt today since im off, but rain and sleet with 30 degrees didnt sound fun. Got till the 10th to hunt. I will be out. Anything comes close will get killed.

Well boys i feel like i failed you. This was my first year since 2012 that i havent shot atleast one deer. Last year i put up over 200 points for the team. Doesnt mean anything after a year like this. I had one buck close enough to shoot at with my bow. Rushed and missed. Sorry yall.

Anyone go shed hunting? Have one buck on cam that dropped but most are still holding in Pa and Ohio, prob gonna start walking a good bit in another two weeks.
