yeah I feel for you guys, been there before years back. I guess when we put down another couple 50 pointers and it not matter we can all feel better lol. seriously it does suck tho

I’m still out looking for a 50 pointer. I know deer seasons run forever some places (we have 2 weeks left) but I wonder if participation towards the end would be higher if the contest ended on 12/31 every year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You’ve been around as long as me, wasn’t it once open through February end? Participation wanes somewhat after holidays, but I know my team alone has had half dozen or more guys that have put in hunts, many multiple times in January. I for sure would support making it go longer.
I'm not quite sure what you mean...although my momma always told me I may not be the quickest or the sharpest but at least I'm alive....wait, that doesn't seem to fit and also makes me question a lot now thinking about it. Either way I'm alive and apparently 2x champion LOL

It really sucks that they did that. I realize that if they had posted their bucks and we didn't come up with something else then we would have finished in second.
I think what ticks me off most for you guys is the one just vanished after he admitted to Chief he didn't get the photos so couldn't prove bow kill or enter it.....I mean I get it shoot I lost a deer entry last year because of not filming recovery and just the shot - it happens, we're human. Have fun and stay active with your team and shoot a doe or second buck to enter if able.

I agree! At least have the decency to own up to it. Why sign up for a TEAM event and then just not participate because you dropped the ball. We arent in this thing for money or deeds for crying out loud. I think all ghosts should be disqualified unless they have a viable excuse.
