I'm stuck with family 300 miles away.
Never been my thing but it's been 3 years so I'm sucking it up.

Hope it's going well for everyone!

Daughter not feeling well today plus a covid exposure at the hospital yesterday. Thankfully, she at least had a n95 mask on. Waiting for her test result which probably won't be back in time.

16 pound bird for 4. Lol.

Looks like our meal is off. Daughter tested positive.

Was in close contact with her as I watched my grandson yesterday.

Leftover pie filling is simmering down, smells amazing. All the dishes are clean, roaster and crockpots are all washed and stashed in the back of the pantry, garage cooking set up is all put away. House is back to normal leftovers are mostly dealt with it is like Thanksgiving never happened.

This is what we did with left overs. It was really good, best way I've ever had the left overs. Wife found a recipe; it was like having thick turkey soup with dumplings. I believe it was better than the actual Thanksgiving dinner (except for the smoked HAM of course). :poke:

I made creamy turkey and rice soup with the leftovers. It turned out pretty damn good probably because I didn't put any disgusting green beans in it

Got the electrical bill yesterday. On the bill they list your power usage from last year they also list your daily usage. Thanks Giving I used 4 times the normal amount of power.
