My morning has been wuite a struggle. Tried to change up my pack. Overdressed. Couldnt make it work where i wanted to go. Im back in a tree i hunted early season in the bottoms. Just trying to get eyes on something. Pretty dead
Just had a Bobcat go by. Now I know why the squirrels were chatty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got cold sitting this morning. 1 small buck and 4 does n fawns. Checked 2 cams and the 2 big bucks are still alive. Both together on a scrape at 4p.m. on the 21st. That lifts my spirits tremendously!
Getting ready to head out to the woods. Heading into a new area and will scout my way in. Try to find good sign to setup for an evening hunt. Yesterday evening was very uneventful. Hoping to change that today! Good Luck everyone.
Just had a small buck go by chasing a doe. Doe looked like a yearling, buck was not much older. She left some attractant for me about 25 yards out.
Pretty slow morning for me. Guy to the north said his cameras were active. Waiting to see what the wind does before I make a decision on the evening hunt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm out. On my way out saw a black bear in the road. Good luck to everyone getting out this evening. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
Moved a couple hundred yards., with the wind changing. Went over to where the buck boogered out this morning, scrape in the area... Pretty close to a known bedding area, hoping they get up for a stretch
Perfect sw wind all the way in...get on stand and it starts blowing North. Lol Finally feeling like a normal person mentally and physically 24 days after getting sick. Holy crap. If this wind does what its supposed to do I have good hope that something moves by before dark.
Geez Louise...a day of BS! First alarm never went off . Hit Sunday not Saturday on alarm. Then stopped by major plumbing issue which over time was my fault. First the fact with diet I'm a shedding monkey. Really I should be bald by now. Then over a year ago apparently some popsicle sticks made it into the drain. Mind you I haven't had a fruit scicle since June of 2020. ...Well that clean out broke a fitting..So hubby is out getting new fittings now. I have been helping him because in all this mess we decide every single drain in the house was getting cleaned before the Holidays. In the mean time A.J. has been...manic , hunting season has kept us from his daily 2-3 hour walk/runs. Seriously it's as if I have Velcro on my arse and him on his nose. Hubby just had a battle trying to beat him out the door..Lol So he in his hunter orange coat and me in my hat and vest went out to check cams. One cam nothing but Sun movement again. The other two A small 9 pt this morning just at opening still pretty dark in back ground though. The other was 3doe in the afternoon thanksgiving. We also ran across the bucks beds in the middle of cowpea trail plot. He was there not long before us because bed had very little snow in it. LOL A. J. ran like he had a rocket in his butt...dang near knocked himself out barely zigging from a tree..cleared a couple of hinged trees with 5 ft to spare. So right now everything is in the air ... Hope you guys are doing better...
Not bow hunting today. Wanna take my rifle and fill my last two doe tags. I love Bowhunting but I also love rifle shooting. Hopefully gonna fill atleast one doe tag tonight. Laying prone in some brush, watching a field. I have two buck tags but I never use both. Saving my buck tag for bowhunting around Christmas break. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Enjoying the peace that comes with a light snow. It is QUIET! I can hear the train that is almost 5 miles away.
Good looking spot, I see you have an orange cap there by your gun . I hope you have one on your head too, rifle season freaks me out!
