But cold and clear night, has me thinking he was up moving last night. I may sit the small parcel I haven't seen a body on this year and relocate midday...

SOB! I decided to sit further along the route from my Thurs encounter. 5 minutes before legal light... He swung wide and was on an old trail, got just down wind of me... The sound of heavy antlers on the branches.

Good luck everyone. Great day to drop one. Wife is on a long road trip to Tx for a barrage of games. Getting the kids squared away this morning and thinking of a game plan for the pm.
Gotta admit, I'm getting burnt out BAD! Alot of deer I had here have moved 1/2 mile north to unhuned property. Will check cams today and see if any bigs are still around, if not I may burn my buck tag on a squirt just to be done.
Pick an old spot you just love being around and hunt. Get some good coffee and food. Add in some chocolate somewhere. Ha. Hunt the last couple hrs of the day to keep it fresh. I'm burned a little myself. Not being around good food sources this time of the year makes it difficult.

Sitting in a different spot my buddies farm with my oldest. We are back in a bedding area hoping to catch them. The duck hunters are having a good morning. Nothing for is yet.
