Views for the afternoon. The doe fawns we bumped were just past the wood piles in the second pic at about 75 yards. The torn up dirt section in the last pic is where they have been feeding heavily. It is 50 yards. That is where I expect my son to get a shot. We have a sSW wind perfectly in our face and a lake 40 yards behind us. Just need a doe or two to follow the script.
Well the snow stopped so....ya know I always take the " professionals" word with a truck load of salt, as it were. lol
Got in about 3. Light snow and breeze, 28°. Still alot of leaves on trees. More than I thought there would be. Good luck tonight. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Just had a doe and mature 8 point come through. I was lining up a shot on the doe at 150 since we are doe only here. I was a split second from shooting when the buck chased off and out of the plot. A few minutes later we heard and caught glimpses of a fight in the trees where they ran.
It was. If they come back out where they went in, the shot will be under 80 yards. I will let My son take that one if they cooperate.
I’m up, at my uncles place. They usually move here about sunset and of course the wind isn’t doing exactly what they said. Good luck everyone! View for the night
Just had 5 does at the far end of the plot at 200 yards with 90 minutes left. Plenty of time for them to work closer for ny son ti shoot. Then two coyotes came through and they spooked the does. No shot at either with how fast it happened. Hopefully enough daylight left for something else to come in.
Little buck working closer. He’s going to have a bad day if he follows that line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bad day in progress. Don’t get excited it’s a baby buck. I needed to wrap this up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
