Had to get ready for the family thing.

Went from looking like a homeless person to a hobo

Don't think I've shaved since 2nd week of September. Kept the buck beard for now, but got rid of the neck portion and went chrome dome

Nothing for me. I did find fresh scat, a good run and some rubs on the way out.

Well guys, it took about 50 hours to get my test results back and it wasn't the news I wanted on thanksgiving, or any other time for that matter, but I am covid positive. I don't feel too bad. Just some head congestion and lethargy. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse.

I'm up and ready to make a turkey day kill. Got a dusting of snow late this morning. Hope to bloody it up some.

Temps dropping, wind picking up. No worries!

Sorry to hear that, hopefully the worst of it is over and a negative test comes soon.

Guessing since you are still helping out in the hospital you are required to have a negative test or two?

That sucks. Take it easy and drink plenty of water. Hopefully it stays mild for you.

I’m set up on Wattensaw WMA in Arkansas.

It’s 3 1/2 hours from where I live. That’s important right now because when I went to get dressed to hunt I realized I forgot to bring my heated vest.

The low tomorrow morning is supposed to be 28 degrees. Not that bad but since I forgot the vest I don’t have the layers for it.

Oh well, live and learn. I’ll be shivering.

You don't bring extra clothes in case something gets wet?

I'm in ate dinner at my aunt's with family left a little after 3 beat it home. I can get an hour in. Still got my clothes on from dinner under my camo. Here's the set up. Nothing to fancy. Got the Allis Chalmers as my cover. There are fresh tire tracks down here so not sure if someone was down here this morning. As long as they didn't push the golden rod I might have a chance at a doe. Nope. I guess I would just toss them in a friend’s dryer if they get wet. It’s never happened here before.
