    I'm visiting family for the holiday in North Florida. I've had 2 sits so far and haven't seen a single deer. Cameras are showing all night activity, but I won't be too picky with taking a shot if I can get one.

    Well folks, got a win this morning, it was dead all morning until I spotted this fella. He decided to cross the field to graze and somehow decided to us the exact trail I used to go into the woods. 5 yard shot, he made it about 20-30 yards and hit the ground after standing for a min. I was probably 2” from defeat, broadhead clipped the very lowest part of the backstrap on entry but exited perfectly, took both lungs.
    I think I had about another 20min of sitting in the tree in me until he just waltzed in, glad I decided to “work” from home.

    So jealous but so excited for the team
    I ordered a new matthew’s VX3 but it won’t be here until mid February
    So….
    I found a used Triax (loaded & ready to shoot) at a pro shop in PA & it will be shipped to my house on Monday
    With any luck I’ll be hunting by Saturday
    A man shall have two bows should be a bible verse

    Illness struck our house so no hunting for me recently, and won’t be able till Sunday afternoon at the latest…not that I can add any more points, but gonna grind out for some more meat and hopefully a special buck off my place.

    I got some good news! I added some points to the board tonight. Won’t be a ton but after the way my season has went this deer got me absolutely fired up. I will post pictures and hey score probably tomorrow. If I had to guess it’s about 110.
