Whew, caught up. Where's the deer pics? Where are the blood trails?

There's supposed to be blood... And dead cervids.

I decided not to go back for a roadkill. Last thing I need is to be another hit in roadway statistic for a set of antlers  Dark and rush hour traffic.

If it is there in the morning, very doubtful, I'll be a few minutes late. Very light traffic before 5:30.

24 hours I'll be getting things ready for a morning hunt, likely an all day sit. Think we're doing a Thanksgiving/Christmas combo this year. Niece is having official wedding in Cancun later this month/early Dec. I can't go due to age of dog and using my vacation for rutcation.

I did a quick search on it and all I could find was that it had something to do with the magnetic field generated by the heating elements.

Nah. I’ll take my chances.

My pacemaker is MRI compatible. I don’t think those wimpy heating elements are gonna cause a problem.

Actually, since I don’t run any more I’m not even sure I need the pacemaker. I’ll keep it just I case though.

Just looking out for your health...

    Good fun aside...

Anybody have a view on handwarmers? I'm whittling down my disposables...

I have a couple of these. They work quite well if you keep them out of the open air

Yeah, NC just a bit different temp wise. Tomorrow morning should be our coldest morning for the season... 24f at 7am, but warms to 41 by 10am...

    Just need a few hrs...

    Thanks. I really love it. It’s a Marlin 1895SBL 45-70.

If it looks familiar you might have seen it in the movie Jurassic World.

I thought about putting a stainless scope on it to make it look identical but I liked the look of the black scope better.

They work great if you keep them in a muff or inside your gloves. They have a problem when you get them out in the air if it's real cold. The cold air tends to really dissipate the heat from them. I have several different brands of these hand warmers and that seems to be a common problem with them.

Deer were up up this morning in my area.

Spotted 2 about 4:15 as I was getting started working out. Hope to get out the next few days, but got a work deadline I need to meet.

Good luck, if you're hitting the woods this morning.

good luck out there this morning guys! still not sure what Im gonna do on Saturday. I get another buck tag in MD and could go down with the bow to try for a 4th buck, I probably wont shoot a doe on that property. On the other hand I can stay up here in PA on Public land for the Rifle opener and try my hand at getting a doe... decisions decisions.
