Sitting in edge of a strip field it's easily 500yds long and there is another one behind me separated by a row of trees. The edge is tore up with scraped and rubs. Any that presents an opportunity I will try to take. Ready to put the 6.5 to the test. Wind is around 12mph in my face. It's chilly. Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Hey guys I’m measuring a few bucks I have mounted just to practice, because I’ve never done it before. If a measurement is between the two 1/8 hash marks do I round up to the nearest 1/8 or round down Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Personally, if it’s btw 1/8” marks, I round down. Not sure what the book says. It’s a very small difference so I don’t worry too much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Another question I have is why do some people only measure up to a G3 on a 8 point, but some measure a G4 on a 8 point. I was looking at the scorecard and some people have only 3 “G” measurements on 8 points. I’m confused Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
On an 8pt there are only 3 tines on each beam. The beam is not counted as a point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes they are, but it’s all squirrels here. This morning should have been a great morning but it was totally dead. Now I’m set up on squirreltropolis and they are wound up.
I've left some trail cams around bedding areas and around Nov 20 to 28 there are spikes in daylight buck movement. Now I'm not very good at getting in on them but those pics dont lie. They are on the move once again seeking.
I feel like we’re hunting the same woods. Identical story as mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
"Keep in mind that measurements are made to the nearest 1/8 inch (rounded off to the next highest 1/8 inch as necessary). To avoid confusion, record all fractional measurements in eighths." https://www.mcall.com/news/mc-xpm-2003-01-05-3461605-story.html
It’s only the 22nd here in MO. How’d you get to the 28th already? lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
And you always get 4 mass measurements each side regardless, but no more. From a mainframe 6x6 to a spike 4 measurements per side.
