That’s just how the picture took. Looks awesome. Didn’t add any special effects. Just portrait setting on my phone.

Awesome! Congrats Jim that’s a beauty! Glad you were able to connect on another great buck!
Carter It was so good I’m actually putting in for preference points for the firearm season too and I don’t even go out with a gun in OH. I hope your able to go.

Back in the blind this morning. 20F and about a 15 mph wind. Just breaking daylight, sidelock is capped and ready. Good luck everyone!

Something in my gutt is telling me to get in a tree.
    It's a strong feeling?
These temps and strong winds are keeping me from doing it but I may get suited up and go sit near a bedding area for a bit.

I gotta try it, even if only an hour.
Will be in that huge oak way back.

Well I’m down. Dogs ruined my hunt again. Wind switched so I just left. They chased this buck now. He’s a shooter for me. The buck they chased yesterday was bigger than him. I don’t have a picture of the really big one

Still taking the day off. Very, very few shots heard today. Processed the deer and I'll be honest I got 45#'s of meat off her to my total surprise. I do not mess with the little stuff as I did when younger and the kids were home. Pretty much prime meat because I do not make burger. That is a grind steaks just before cooking deal with me now.

Wind whipped rain anyhow let the deer rest a bit, hopefully feeling safe on us.

I’m up for the afternoon sit.

The wind shifted 180 degrees from yesterday so I’m in a tree in the SE corner of my property.

Oh yeah I know. Idk what to do. I’ve did my part in trying to find the owners. I don’t know a legal way to handle this situation

Just end the dogs and do not tell anyone. You did your due diligence. Nobody here will say anything.

I literally logged in to say this-
Nov. 21, mid-MI and I have seen more moths in the woods than deer.

Good news is I did see my first legal buck this AM.
Bad news is the doe he was with busted me and they both blew out. I am the best hunter in the world at picking the one tree in the woods the deer will walk directly towards from my back shoulder.
