    Heading out in 30… be in stand 1 hour before sunrise…. Not going to be picky today if the Lord brings a yearling doe or 80” buck in range, I’ll probably shoot lol

    nothing close yesterday, saw a decent 8 pt about 250 yards away in a different field. He was following a doe.

    saw about 12 does , all to far, a BB was 60 - 65 yards, that was the closest. i was on the edge of a cut corn field.

    i'll be out by 830 am this morning

    Slept through alarm. Driving to my spot. Be there in 10 minutes, and a 25 minute walk. I’ll be setup a little late. 17 degrees. Dark to dark unless I kill something

    I was able to Head south. FIL is stable. Some issue with his heart and they probably putting stent in. Wife practically kicked me out to hunt. Said shes fine and she would call if she needs me. So here i am! Got the shotgun so im not kosher today but good luck too all anyhow!

    Been in swamp since 6:15. Followed lots of tracks down, none in here reds driving me nuts very cold very windy...my last chance in early.

    Got close to killing a doe. Apparently she’s saw me in this stand before. I saw her before she saw me. Right before she gets in the open she knew to stare at my tree before going out in the open.



    OMG as I was typing this two dogs just ran a MONSTER BUCK, and a spike by me!!! There isn’t supposed to be dogs here either

    Cool but quiet here. 27 degrees and light NE wind. That buck worked his way to my down wind. Stopped and smelled me but didnt even a t alarmed. Just kept moseying around and then gone by legal time. Like he had a watch and checked the time table for legal light.
