I think the last time I've been was when I went with you. I really need to get back down there. I say it every year.

Hunted yes, few times, no success. Saw a small hind (Doe) and 1 small Stag, should have shot. Muzzle-loader on public. Had to use chest waders to get too spot. Check with Hammer 1171 on team 3, he kills some nice stags every year. Havent watched Seek one's hunt yet, but locals are bitching about it, every time someone posts video , swamp gets hammered. Look up "Bayside Legion" on YouTube, guys love to hunt them. Need boat to access remote spots, need to know what your doing, deep holes in there.

Good luck with it, hopefully you get the resolution you're seeking and it's enough to prevent the others from continuing and the 2 from seeking retaliation.

Half way up stand, busted bed right behind stand. I stopped the first round of snorting with a few grunts then they went direct down wind and wouldn't shut up! 30 mins. Later a doe fawn fed In from behind. She hit a good trail 4 yrds out and fed past. Heard a grunt a few moments ago nothing yet.
They got wind direction correct. That said not t h e speed!

Mild my arse! Literal 5 layers on 2 being wind barrier and I'm freezing.

    Thought I'd posted that...
I'm home again, saw another fawn, heard some fighting way down and across hill. More grunts but nothing sighted. Got down when the NO rain today started. Just before drive I kicked up 3 fawn.....Little Chief you reading this.?....lol

Now that I live 7 hours away I’m sure I’ll start itching to hunt the shore again Maybe we’ll do an October sika hunt and then a late November rut hunt here in TN next year…..

Now your talking! I have heard there are some camp grounds down there. That would make it easy to not drive 2-3 hours each way. So your just getting into the rut down there? Been seeing any good bucks?

Oh drove around "knob" to check camps...beef farmer now has 3 trucks there and no people at barn...they must have permission to hunt in the neighbor's pines...all he owns is open field that butt up to pines, hunting camp ag field and my woods..Then I think I spooked who ever is hunting the hunt camp that's on the market. I passed them slow and they turned the truck around and followed me down the hill. They've been up and down the hill on stopping the last few days. I hate when a big buck gets spotted up here....probably the guys I called in a week or so ago and had to wave off.
Will be heading out a bit later ..awful windy out.

You know what gives a coach's spouse a heart attack? Winning by one point. That was a good non conference win to a team that we would have lost to by 20 points even 2 years ago. Good progress.

First of all, I sure hope you experience peace when you are out hunting. I hope this harassment issue is cleared up and your hunt time returns to a relaxing time.

Thanks for the bloody snow PicsMan!

Congratulations on a great buck. Looks like a great memory with the revolver!
