You can only do what you can. I’ve only been hunting 2 days so far this year because of busy schedules etc. hope you can find some time for tree therapy

All the pics are off the exit side. Looked further back than I thought. And was very high. My daughter wanted to shine around the house tonight on our way home. He was in the field 50 yards off the road chasing a doe. So he is still hanging around for now. Our gun season starts on Saturday. I'm taking Thursday off from work to get 1 more day of bowhunting in before rifle starts.

I looked at the last couple years and it looks like we would need somewhere in ball park of like 1200-1300 points to have a shot at winning.
But the # of bucks we have put up has been pretty awesome.
With any luck I will have my "doe" 50 points sometime next week.

This is the biggest scrape I’ve ever seen. Every branch around it was a licking branch

You getting excited to hunt next week? It's getting close. Interested to see what you see compared to your last hunt.

Don’t have permission anymore to hunt that property since it changed hands, they let me go over there to search for that first buck I shot

When are you getting back out? You getting your buck mounted?

I just did a euro on mine. I may get it mounted later on. I just like being able to pick up and hold the antlers.

I’m just getting a euro. Little lighter on the wallet and don’t want to mount anything less then 140”. Plus euro mounts are way easier to move around and look at. Prolly will slip out to my grandfathers next week when kids are on break and let my son and him squirrel hunt while I drop a slick head. Just remembered I still have to cams on public that have been soaking for 2 months. Hopefully no one stole them, might snag those tomorrow

Not sure if this was aimed at me or fossen, but regardless I am super pumped. Leave town Saturday morning for the 6 hour drive, will unload, wait for my brother to roll in then head out for his first ever sit late afternoon and evening.
Then going to do an all day sit with him Sunday, setup in 2 spots and let him use the tree stand I used last time. I will be ground level this next time.
The buck activity out there has definitely slowed way down. But I am going for whatever I see. Hoping my brother gets an opportunity on a decent buck though.

Yes originally was aimed at you. I'm hoping you still have deer on property. Hopefully the neighbors will be hunting and it will keep or push deer onto your property. Good luck! Looking forward to updates

My brother-in-law still lives up there and goes out about every other day. Said he saw a really nice 8 point the other day, and does are still frequenting, which is good.
He used some Doe Urine to get that 8 point to come in, so thinking I may still give this Doe Estrus a shot.
Got my evercalm in yesterday, so will use that to get out into the property, then hang up some estrus scents and throw down some peanut butter corn near the feeders. Should get something to pass through...
