It's raw and wet out there...had to force A. J. out the door to potty. Radar not looking any better. Suppose to clear up by 8 for a few hours...I'll head out then. Good luck a.m.

Should be up in my climber by 640. Going to an old spot I’ve had lots of success in the past. I don’t know what draws the deer there. Hopefully it pays off this morning. Good luck.BHOD.

On my way down the shared driveway on the farm, a truck pulled up while I was walking in. I was headed to same stand as yesterday. The guy stopped and started talking with me. He hunts the 40acres that I was going to walk today. He knew exactly the Buck I was looking for yesterday. He didn't want me walking around, as he was hunting for the day, which I understand. He did say that after he hunted this morning that he would check the upper part of the property near the posted piece. We traded numbers and he will call me if he sees it, alive or dead.

I've been up since about 0530. Had a single deer walk by me at 30yds at 0600. Single deer on the move. I assume Buck headed to bed. Couldn't make him out, 15min before shooting time.

Feels like 17 degrees with 2 inches of snow. Getting ready to head out.

Good luck this AM and have a blessed Sunday everyone.

I'm up. Not very high. I thought I left my pull rope for my bow attached to my climber. guess not. Made for an interesting accent. Water bottle fell out. I found my original license at the bottom of the tree. To had I already wasted $15 on a replacement. Things are good going great. 1636891412901.jpeg

Sitting having coffee catching up. Congrats Page!

Got rain and blustery conditions this morning so I decided to stay home.

Going to monitor the weather and see if I can sqeeze in a hunt this evening. We are suppose to have 20 mile plus winds with gust to 40 today. If I go I'll be on the ground again hunting the bedding thicket.

Hunted it yesterday and saw 10 does and 3 little bucks.

Got a feeling that the big ones are locked down.

Good luck AM shift. About to start butchering so I can be out this afternoon. More does on the menu for me. Farmer wants them thinned out!

A raccoon or different animal most certainly pissed in this box stand last night and I most certainly put my right hand right into it getting in. Stinky stinky stinky.
