Someone liked this spot enough to build that thing……only my third hunt on this land. Hoping to catch some chasing action or maybe see a bear or two.

That was my thought too. See if the DNR will give them a call.

Things are heating up... I saw 142 posts and talk about a tracker... Hopefully all works out...

    I'm, uh, kinda preoccupied. 20211113_150444.jpeg

Front just pasted through now the sun is out. Friggin dry cough is killing my hunt. VT man I was rooting for you to get that funky sucker. Hopefully I won't cough for another hour and something will come my way 1636835775323.jpeg

Snow is coming down good. Sitting on a high line in a box stand. First time in a stand with a roof this year. Forgot how nice it is!

Every over hanging branch along this line has a scrape on it. Has to be close to 20 in 150yds.

    Good luck pm shift!

That landowner only has 4acres. The way the Buck was going he was going to pass right through his property. I took a ride and the 40acres next to that property is not posted. Im gonna go for a walk tomorrow see if I can pick something up. The Buck was angling that way.

That's a game changer there. 4 acres, depending on shape of the property should be somewhat glassable.

I'd walk the entire edge on both sides e
with binos looking into it if no obvious sign of exit.

Neighbors are doing a drive. Time to get ready and hope the deer circle back around behind them to our property.

Well. tried public on Thursday evening with a buddy and saw a forky and ran into another hunter who shot a 6pt with his bow. Ended up sitting most the day yesterday in the high winds and sleet and didnt see squat - been a real bummer as of late. Congrats to the killers - some super nice deer hit the dirt *cough cough* @pastorjim08 :moose:

Dang VW...that stinks. I hope you find him.

Sitting in the backyard. No deer yet, but it’s beautiful out here.
