May change it up this evening and ground game it. With 30mph gusts I may need to get down tight to bedding, but I kinda don’t want to bump everything out. Just not sure
Wind is starting to pick up, light rain front moving through for the next hour. I am hoping something walks right here to 15 yards after the front moves through. Four trails converge here as it is one of the few spots where the creek bank is low enough to allow the deer to get a drink.
Alrighty PM shift. Let’s do something…….granted, the deer have to do their part too. Good Luck, everyone!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A few years ago, I had a nice (at least 8 pt) come hauling down a trail when sitting with the rifle. I squeezed of a shot, but was pretty sure I missed. After a couple minutes I got up to check for blood. And a Coyote come booking down the same trail. I was dumbfounded, and took a couple steps and a dog come running down the trail... And I did miss.
I’ve returned to the stand and there’s freezing rain. I hope this is the push from Mother Nature to send deer my way.
Congrats on the buck pastorjim. Im in pretty far but no sign on the way in. I just picked a tree and sat down. Put a mock scrape out in front about 15yds. It's warm 55 and breezy. The tics are no joke today. Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow...better known as shlop. That's what I'm sitting in. Still better conditions than yesterday and my cam had day movement in the wind and rain. It's just about dead calm but will still be hard to hear them. The swamp is wet and the sleet making too much noise
Congrats on a nice buck. I'm back out in a blind blind over cut corn. We are seeing a lot of doe but nothing bigger than a crotch horn has been with them yet. Cameras are telling the same story.
