Well, I was going to do as @dnoodles suggested and suck it up and hunt the rest of the day. Unfortunately, when I went to test draw for the second time, my whole sight moved down two inches. The top mounting screw broke off i the miutning hole. My day is done.
Well that was intense! All deer have left. Gotta sneak outside and get dresses More coming dammit! Lol
For better or for worse I’m back in a tree in “my valley” in the National Forest. I’ll see if I can control the coughing.
My Legacy awaits. Oops! I found the Master bedroom but im looking for the hallway that connects the family room to the kitchen. There it is!!! Its been a looong day. Got soaking wet and its so windy. Thank God for merino wool. I almost went back to truck to eat but eating is for sissies!! Thats what im telling my belly, it’s copping an attitude with me. Freaking strving
I bailed out. The wind is beyond stupid and I’m use to being in the air. It’s flat out howling!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It’s the golden hour and I’m in the blind. Safe and LETHAL hunt Y’all. I’m going to murder a deer dammit.
So good news on my bow; the mounting screw on my sight didn’t break off. It just came out and was lost somewhere in the woods. Fortunately, I had an extra screw at home. The sight was a little loose when I put the new screw in and I was hitting about 2” right and 6” low at 20 with broadheads. Put some locktite on the screws and letting it set overnight, hopefully no wiggle in the morning and I may only have to make POI adjustments to the sight.
