Alright guys as of 10 minutes ago I'm officially done with work for the week! Got the next few days to do nothing but hunt. Sun up to sun down, I'm getting a second buck! Let's keep this train going! We need a few more does down for the team and I know a few of you are chasing a couple slammers, so wouldn't hurt to shoot a couple of them either! Lol Good luck out there guys! I still have 2.5 weeks before i get out again. But it will be a solid week of hunting when i do. Only have the "doe" slot left, but really just anxious to get out and see what shakes loose
Was a little slower today. Seen a couple small bucks and a few does and fawns. Back at it in the morning. Good luck others guys that are out hunting
Gettin' stuff around today for Saturday's hunt. Xbow is shooting dead-on at 20yds. All my clothes are sprayed down with sent killer. Picked up some doe estrus at Sportsman Warehouse and a buck's tarsel gland soaked in rut urine from a local supplier (actually got the last one). Well wife didn’t let me go out this morning even tho had a bucks chasing 6 does in our field. Went out this evening had a button buck, spike, 6 pt, and doe under me and all together seen 8 deer Mathews HTR, Sword 5 pin, Truball release, Goldtip XT hunter 300, QAD 125 gr Swept, QAD rest
Even with the warm weather did see some deer movement today. Passed a 2 yr old and seen another decent looking buck right as I was getting ready to climb down tonight. Couldn't tell exactly what buck he was as it was fairly dark and he was 40ish yards away. Could tell he wasn't one of the bigger ones. Back out in the morning
Did a all day sit with no service! So was forced to stay off phone and enjoy nature! Haha. Saw 3 small bucks pushing a couple does at 8:30. Then nothing til 4:30, small 6 PT, then shortly after a small 3 or 4 PT. No shooters. Be back after it tomorrow. Goof luck guys
