Just looked up and a buck was standing at the scrap. No idea were he came from, never heard him. He could smell where I walked over to pee in it, and didn't like that. Turned and went straight into marsh.

He was a 7 pt about to his ears, pass.

Saw that medium buck this morning scent checking doe fawns. He is missing right front foot. Left side of rack is smaller- must be last year's injury. Can still see 3 does. Little buck just came and harassed. Saw a couple of other little bucks. May have shot 2.5 yo if presented opportunity, but thinking I will pass. Let someone else shoot and think he is big. Deer all over. 20211105_094044.jpg 20211105_084857.jpg

We’ll call it 50% redemption. I shot the young one by mistake.

The big doe was in the lead when they went behind t bushy tree. I shot her when she came out, or I thought I did. I realized what I’d done when momma bolted.

She must have stopped and the young one walked out.

It was a perfect 34 yard shot. She ran to the old road and fell almost right in it.

Small 5 cruising. Not sure if he hit my scent or didn't like the decoy
