    There's no doubt about that, we actually hung the set he died under on Saturday in an attmept for my 13 year old to move in on him a little after we found his bedding area. Hunted by my dad on Saturday Night. No one was in there on Sunday at all as we had my yougest boys birthday party. Go in Monday morning and the deer that stand was intended for is piled up 15 steps from the base of the tree.

    I was getting settled in at 630, still had my red light on. Heard something to the south, turned and looked that way and one of the bucks I'm after went cruising by at 30 yds. 30 minutes before shooting time. Oh well, at least I know he is in the area. Not a thing since

    Doe and a fawn moved through about 2.0 minutes ago. Gonna give it a half hour, go up and get some lunch and shoot a little then come back out. Going to move my stand 50 yards west and get closer to where the bucks have been cruising. About half have come close enough for a shot, the other half haven’t but all have been on that same trail

    Took Barley out. Started at point of impact and she ran the blood trail about 30 yards further than I did last night. We went all directions off of last blood but she kept coming back. Until….. until we jumped two live deer, and I was on the end of a 25 foot tow rope. She was sure she’d found what we were finding lol. It’s hard to get a 110lb Cane Corso slowed down.

    I’m going to shoot my bow a little and come up with an afternoon gameplan
